EDWARDSBURG - Donna Lee Seibel, 80 years old, of the Edwardsburg-Niles area, entered eternity on Oct. 26, 2017 at Royalton Manor, St. Joseph, MI after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 8, 1937 in Chicago to Albert and Bernice (Gorski) Swets and grew up in the Decatur, MI area and graduated from Decatur High School. Donna was a truly devoted wife and mother who cared for and nurtured her 3 children. Later in life, she worked as a cashier at Hardings Supermarket in Edwardsburg. She and her husband Paul later enjoyed the opportunity to travel and enjoy the addition of grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the years to come. Donna was married April 30, 1958 in Decatur to Paul Nicholas Seibel who passed on May 1, 2012. Surviving are their children, Bradley Seibel of Niles, Michelle (Robert) Ziemer of Hartford and Janine Duncan of Rolling Prairie, IN. Donna was blessed with nine grandchildren: Joseph Seibel, Rebecca Seibel, Isaiah Seibel, Kailie Duncan, Zachary Duncan, John Cole Duncan, Joshua Duncan, and twins Kendall Ziemer and Olivia Ziemer. There are three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Lorraine Maxwell of Lawton. Family who have preceded Donna in passing are her parents, her beloved husband Paul and three brothers, Ken Swets, Bob Swets and Al Swets. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main St., Edwardsburg. The Service of Remembrance will begin at 11:00 AM on Oct. 31, 2017 with Mr. Bradley Seibel, son of Donna, officiating. Interment will follow in Adamsville Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Paul E.
