Emery “Jim” John Gosztola Jr., 83, passed away at home on Monday, June 1, 2015. Jim was born on June 3, 1931 in South Bend to Emery John Gosztola and Irma Elizabeth Horvath. He was preceded in death by his parents and his children’s mother, Marlene (Coppens) Gosztola and his son, Thomas Gosztola. On February 14, 2000 in Dowagiac, MI he married the former Joyce (Hanback), she survives along with his son, Timothy (Donna) Gosztola of Mishawaka and five grandchildren, Christine, Kevin, Taylor, Avery and Taryn Gosztola and Jim’s buddy “Petey” the dog. Jim was an Electrical Engineer and retired in 1996. Visitation will be on Friday, June 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 6 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
