SOUTH BEND - Robert N. Seeley, 82, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012, in Hospice House, South Bend. He was born on February 19, 1929, in South Bend, IN, to Michael and Dorothy (Nelson) Seeley. On April 11, 1959, in South Bend, IN, he married the former Irene Boros. Mr. Seeley is survived by his wife, Irene Seeley of South Bend, IN; son, Michael Seeley of South Bend, IN; stepdaughter, Renee (Doug) Tuveson of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Courtney and Desiree Seeley; four step-grandchildren, Andrea, Amy, Doug and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Altic of AZ; and two nieces, Rhonda and Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Seeley; and a nephew, Donald Altic. Mr. Seeley lived most of his life in South Bend, spending the last 30 years in Michigan. He served his country honorably in the United States Army in Korea. Mr. Seeley was self-employed in the restaurant business in Michigan until 1990. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend.
