SOUTH BEND - Mary Ann (Pozsgai) Hansen, 82, passed away on Friday, November 13, in Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Ann was born on December 23, 1932 in South Bend to Theresa (Vargo) and Stephen Pozsgai Sr., who preceded her in death. On December 13, 1975, Mary Ann married Philip Hansen of White Plains, NY. Mary Ann's daughter, Sharon (Jack) Ladonski preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Philip, her two grandchildren, Amanda Robaska and Robert (Amy) Robaska and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are five siblings, Erma Salay, Helen Pozsgai, Barbara (Michael) Norris, Elizabeth Delchambre and John (Glenda) Pozsgai as well as several nieces and nephews. Four of Mary Ann's siblings preceded her in death, Delores Stankiewicz, Paul Pozsgai, Katherine Cooper and Stephan Pozsgai Jr. Mary Ann worked as an administrative assistant at several physicians' offices in White Plains, NY and South Bend. She has a keen interest in health care issues, and she enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens and decorating her home. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 19 at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Friday, November 20 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in South Bend. Rev.
