Alfred G. Kazmierczak, 92, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 9:08 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2006, in Memorial Hospital. Alfred was born on December 8, 1913, in Bronson, MI, to Leo and Barbara (Miklas) Kazmierczak. He retired from Don Meadow Pontiac. He had also been employed with Welter Pontiac. On June 19, 1937, in South Bend, IN, he married Phyllis E. Mroz, who preceded him in death on March 10, 1981. In April 1982, in Colorado, he married Alice Kerr, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Lesinski and Marie Lochmondy. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Ron) Ryback of South Bend, IN, and Jeanette A. Nye of South Bend, IN; his special friend and companion, Donna Mach, and her family of Baroda, MI; six grandchildren, Dawn Nye, Todd Stephen (Rochelle) Nye, Scott (Karen) Ryback, Doug Ryback, Greg Ryback and Chris (Soon) Ryback; seven great-grandchildren, Cameron Nye, Amy, Casey, Justin, Jeremy, Nyah and Dylan Ryback; five sisters, Adeline Marosz of Mishawaka, IN, Louise Piotrowski of South Bend, IN, Margaret Meagher of Portland, OR, Genevieve Zielinski of Mishawaka, IN, and Gertrude Ewald of Mishawaka, IN; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
