Naples, FL - Gloria Gaedtke Prewett Krida, former wife of Cap Prewett, who preceded her in death, passed on October 1, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her sister, Dr. Magdalene Gaedtke Corbin; brother, Walter Gaedtke; 2 daughters Andrea (Joe) Gromosky and Amy (David) Livingston; 2 grandchildren, Ben and Jack Gromosky; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She will have a service in Indianapolis on Nov 4. In lieu of flowers, she would be honored if you supported any of the following organizations: heifer.org, smiletrain.org, harrychapinfoodbank.org. Home improvement winner Gloria Ann Gaedtke, 17, of South Bend, Is a freshman and hopes to become an interior decorator or teacher. In addition to her home Improvement awards, she was St Joseph county winner in baking food preservation, and clothing. She recently won the title of Clay township "Achievement Queen". Her home Improvement talents were revealed by her beautifying the summer living room, the summer cottage, and her bed room. She renovated an antlque clock, lamp, a high backed chair and dresser. Her bedroom has refreshing touches such a white dotted swlss over yellow broad cloth for a mirror ruffle, dressing stool skirt, and dresser scarf dotted swifts lampshade, and a white throw rug. A more attractive summer living room was created by painting walls and chairs, laying a new tile floor, and making draperies and cushion for the lounge. She also helped to finish the knotty pine Interior of the cottage. Miss Gaedtke is past president of the Clay township 4-H Club and also a Junior Leader. Her travel was provided by Sears-Roebuck Foundation.
