NILES - Ann K. Rudman, 91 was born on January 23, 1926 in Escanaba, MI to the late Peter and Theodozya (Welch) Kiefas. Ann had lived in Niles most of her adult life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Rudman, and their son, Robert. She later married Stirling Blair, who also preceded her in death. Her siblings that preceded her in death were: Joseph Kiefas, Mary Kiefas, Helen Mau, Josephine Secnevich, Bernice Gregurich and John Kiefas. Ann is survived by her son William ‘Bill' Rudman and Mimi Elwell; granddaughters, Emily Rudman and Alyson (Will) Grattan; great grandchildren Liliya Wright and Everest Grattan; and a sister Esther Vitti of Winnipeg, Canada. Ann was a 2nd Grade Teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School for 43 years. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Ann was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and a member of Orchard Hills Country Club for many years. She enjoyed golfing, reading, bridge, and traveling. Visitation for Ann will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5-7pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 am by Fr. Christian Johnson. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
