SOUTH BEND - Evelyn M. Mrozinski, 93, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 4:05 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Sterling House. She was born on June 13, 1918 in Calumet, MI to the late Michael L. and Margaret (Symanski) Brylewski and lived in South Bend most of her life. On June 15, 1940 in South Bend, IN she married Stanley J. Mrozinski, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1967. Mrs. Mrozinski is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen M. and Brian Miller of South Bend, Mary Ellen and Jerry Rauschenberg of Akron, OH and Linda A. and Tom Frost of Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren, Louis (Jenny) Miller, Betsy (Bobby) Williams, Joseph Miller, Peter (Lindsey) Miller, Michael (Stacey) Vettel, Toby (Angie) Frost, Jake (Gloria) Frost, Megan (John) Heissler, Josh (Lori) Frost, Luke (Amy) Frost, Jessica (Andy) Herrick and Sarah (Rich) Murphy; and twenty-five great grandchildren. Her sister, Vera Andries and her brother, Roman Bryleski both preceded her in death. Evelyn retired from O'Brien Corporation in 1983 after 22 years of service. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards and bowling. Being with people brought Evelyn great joy and she always had a smile for all. Evelyn loved her family above all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 25, 2011 at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 2120 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until time of services in the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. The family wishes to thank Sterling House and Hospice for the loving care given to our mother.
