Emil P. Buysse, 64, of 132 E. 8th Street, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday in his home after an illness of three mnths. He was born July 8, 1913, in Bradley, Ill., and came here in 1915 from Illinois. He worked at the Bendix Corp. as a designer for 37 years and was married to Frances E. Krieger, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Beverly Buysse, attending Vincennes (Ind.) University, two sons, Donald, at home and W. Mark Howell of Cliffordside, NJ; a grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Loyal Beehler and Mrs. Emiel Boudonck of Mishawaka; three half-sisters, Mrs. James Hughes of South Rockwood, Mich., Mrs. Dale Taylor of North East, MD., and Mrs. Jewell Stogedill of South Bend, and three half-brothers, Raymond and John DeMeulenaere of Mishawaka and August DeMeulenaere of Milwaukee. Another half-brother, Leon DeMeulenaere died in 1976. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home.Buysse was a member of the First United Methodist District Church, Chapter 30 of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and commitee worker for the Boy Scouts of America. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mishawaka YMCA Building fund, Flowers also will be accepted.
