SOUTH BEND - Anna B. Mann, 89 years old, passed away at 7:14 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Anna was born on August 25, 1923, in Dowell, IL, to the late Charles and Mary (Savanich) Manzuk. She had lived in South Bend most of her life. Anna retired from the Uniroyal Corporation after 32 years of employment. Anna is survived by her daughter, Shirley J. (Christopher C.) Clarke of South Bend; five grandchildren, Ann Marie (Stephen) Thompson, Jacki (Jeff) Caton, Kimberly Mann, Timothy Mann and Tina (Michael) Szymanski; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Anna was preceded in death by her son, David L. Mann; one sister, Mary Bryant; and three brothers, Charles, Michael, and Andrew Manzuk. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14th, at the funeral home.
