Edward L. Mroczkiewicz, 59, of 26195 Ind. 2, died at 7:15 pm Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of 14 months. He was employed by the South Bend Lathe Works. He was born July 30, 1913, in New Carlisle, and had lived in the area all his life. On June 29, 1940, in Terre Coupee, he married Dorothy Grzesk, who survives. Also surviving are five brothers, Florian, Henry, and Paul, all of South Bend, Albert of North Liberty, and Andrew of Tempe, Ariz.; and four sisters, Mrs. Rose Ann Geddes of North Liberty, and Mrs. Hattie Chrobot of Edwardsburg, Mrs. Vicky Ostrander of Tempe, and Mrs. Mary lou Eade of Tucson, Ariz.Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mr. Mroczkiewicz was a veteran of World War II, a member of Chapter 6, D.A.V, and a member of the Mishawaka Chapter 12632, Loyal Order of Moose. He was also a member of the Crumstown Conservation Club.
