SOUTH BEND - Patricia L. Lula, 75, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, in Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born November 6, 1941, in South Bend, to the late Theodore and Helen Kubisiak. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kubisiak; sisters, Theresa Kubisiak & Mary McCullen; and companion, Edward Pieterziak. Survivors of Patricia include her children, Kenneth Lula, Johnny Lula; and daughter, Margie Lula; grandchildren, Justin Batalis, Kristi Lula and Nicholas Lula; great-grandchildren, Jimmy Garcia, Marissa Lula, Mariah Lula; and a brother, Theodore (Sherry) Kubisiak. Patricia retired from Raco after 44 years of employment. She was a very patriotic person who loved her country. Patricia was a member of the VFW 9820 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 284 and Turtle Club. She loved going to the Casino, Notre Dame football, NASCAR “Tony Stewart,” fishing, gardening, cooking, canning, mushroom hunting, country music and partying - very social. Visitation for Patricia is 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
