LA PORTE -- John M. Zernick, 83, of Fountainview Terrace, formerly of 109 12th St., died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday in Fountainview Terrace of natural causes. Survivors include two stepdaughters, Gussie Baker of Las Vegas, Nev., and Fayelene Egyhazi of South Bend; two sons, Frank and John, both of La Porte; and a sister, Bertha Pearish of North Liberty. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Haverstock Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, and two hours before services on Wednesday.
