John Zapalski.
John Zapalski, box 82, Rt. 1, died at 11:45 p. m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Poland Feb. 2, 1875, he came to South Bend 65 years ago from that country and was a farmer by occupation. Surviving are five daughters.; Mrs. Jennie Bilinski. Mrs. Verna Myszak, Mrs. Clementine Steinke, Mrs Helen Radakovitch, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Bernice Rakowski, Niles, Mich.; two sons, Edward and Walter; both of South Bend: 14 grandchildren and eight great=grandchildren. Friends may call after 1 p. m. Saturday in St.' Joseph Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held at 9 a. m. Monday in St. Casimir's Catholic with Rev. J. Witucki, C.S.C. officiating.
