March 21, 1949 - June 20, 2012 SOUTH BEND - Karen Marie Reese Pietrzak, 63, residing in South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at her home. Karen was born on March 21, 1949, in Plymouth, IN, to the late George and Ruth (Long) Reese. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Pietrzak, and her son, Brent Pietrzak, both of South Bend; sister, Amy Reese of Tucson, AZ; and brothers, Steve (Judy) Reese of Cache, OK, and Brian (Tina) Reese of Bristol, TN. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the New Creation Fellowship, 30190 C.R. 10, Granger, IN 46530. Pastor Dave Klahr will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at church. Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN, is assisting the family with arrangements.
