SOUTH BEND - Rose E. Robaska, 93 years old, passed away on Thursday morning, May 4, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Mrs. Robaska was born on April 27, 1924, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Merlin and Dorothea Rupert. She has lived in South Bend most of her life. Mrs. Robaska was formerly employed with NIPSCO and worked part-time at Tepe's. She formerly attended Grace United Methodist Church in South Bend. Mrs. Robaska is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and John Yoder of Sarasota, FL, and her granddaughter, Holly Yoder of Boston, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Z. Robaska; sister, Helen Boykin; and brother, Paul Rupert. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 U.S. 31 South. Rev. David Schrader, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, is assisting with arrangements.
