Victor Robert Doms

New Carlisle - Victor Robert Doms, 85, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Victor was born January 28, 1936 in Laporte, IN to Francis and Bertha (Antoine) Doms, who preceded him in death along with five siblings. Left to cherish the memory of Victor is his loving wife of 53 years, Leona (Dobrzykowski) Doms, along with their children, Greg (Jennifer) Doms, Leanne Doms, & Eric (Ehricha Sherland) Doms; grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Samantha, Reese & Brayden Doms. Victor honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Falcons in LaPorte. Victor worked in sales in the beverage industry and farmed for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, watching wildlife. Most of all Victor loved his family and visiting with his grandchildren. Services are pending and will be held at a later date. NEW CARLISLE Leona and Victor Doms of New Carlisle celebrated their 40th anniversary July 13 with a family dinner. Victor Doms and Leona Dobrzykowski married July 13, 1968, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. They have three children, Leanne Doms, Greg, and Eric, all of New Carlisle. They also have four grandchildren. Mr. Doms has been employed for 42 years in sales, and Mrs. Doms has been employed for 16 years in retail sales. They have lived in New Carlisle for 40 years.
