MISHAWAKA - Joseph Anthony Buda, 66, passed away at 8:45 a.m. May 24th in Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by his family. Joseph was born on September 29, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI, to Frank and Hilda (Blaschke) Buda. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, Frank "Butch" Buda. Surviving Joseph are his wife, Debra Buda; a daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Clevenger of South Bend; sister-in-law, Janet Buda; nephews, John (Jenne) and their daughters, Zoe and Eve Buda, David, Christopher and Anthony Buda, all of Milwaukee, WI; his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Darlene Stynoski, and their family, all of Chicago, IL. Joseph was employed by Modern Woodmen of America for 36 years, Sales Supervisor in Milwaukee, WI, and Agency Manager for Northern Indiana Territory until he retired. He was a member and president of the FICF, Fraternal Insurance Council and GAMA President for two years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of American Legion Post 308 in Osceola. Joseph was also an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and was an avid Cubs fan. "GO CUBS!" Family and friends may call Friday, May 29, from 4-8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 30, at noon, with visitation one hour prior in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Daniel Scheidt officiating.
