Devon Charles Frye, 83, of Mishawaka passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Devon was born in Mishawaka on October 25, 1939, to the late Dee and Olive (Newman) Frye. In December of 1988 he married Donna Galbreath who survives. He is survived by his children, Denise (Denny) Kimmel, Dave (Judy) Frye and Janeen (Russ) Stephens; grandchildren, Heather, Mallory, Elizabeth, Josh, Adam, Frances and Clara; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is also survived by his 2 pups, Forrest and Bubba. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty DeBuysser and Delores Frye and brothers, Cecil Frye and Ray Frye. Devon worked for Clean Towel Service, Dodge Manufacturing, United Limo and Supreme Corporation. He loved to travel, that is until he bought a cottage on Shavehead Lake in 1993. It was there that he enjoyed relaxing and spending time with family and friends. Devon was a friend to all; he never knew a stranger. The family will receive friends from 12 pm-2 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.
