Salomea Kochanowski

Mrs. Paul Kochanowski, age 90, of 522 Chapin street, died this morning in her residence. Death was a result of the infirmities of age. Born in Poland, Dec. 24, 1842, she came to South Bend 54 years ago. She leaves her husband and two sons, Joseph and Stanislaus. The funeral will take place at 9 o'clock Friday morning from St. Hedwige's Roman Catholic church and interment will be in Cedar Grove cemetery. Mrs. Kochanowski leaves also eight grandchildren.
Mr. Kochanowski is one of the oldest grocers in the city, proprietor of a store on Chapin street for more than 40 years.
