Edward E. Barden, 76 years old, of Wesley Chapel, FL, formerly of Walkerton, IN, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Tampa, FL. He was born February 9, 1946 in LaPorte, IN, son of the late Arthur Barden and the late Velma (Gordon) Barden. He owned Walkerton Body Shop for thirty plus years and drove a school bus for the John Glen School District for many years. Surviving are son, Thomas E. (April) Barden of Wesley Chapel, FL; Granddaughters Tommi (Nick) Weeks of Walkerton, IN, Kaylee (Jordan) Haley of Ft. Bragg, NC, Jordyn Barden and Sarah Barden of Wesley Chapel, FL; Grandson James (Jamie) Hittle of Littleton, CO.; Great Grandchildren Cory, Dylan, and Jacob (Tommi Weeks) and Kaidan and Emersyn (Kaylee Haley). Ed is also survived by his twin sister Dorothy (Lamar) Kronk, Deloris (Jerry) Young, Elson (Lynn) Barden, and Nancy (Carl) Shores. He was preceded in death by his wife Valeria H. (Bienas) Barden and daughter Jody M. (Barden) Hurford. A Celebration of Life is planned for 3pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the North Liberty V.F.W. Burial to follow on Sunday at the Morris Cemetery in Polk Township, Marshal County, IN. (time TBD).
