Joseph Golba, aged 57, of 732 West Monroe Street, a world war veteran of the United States army, was found dead in bed in his home at 8 a.m. Wednesday, a victim of a sudden heart attack. Born in Poland Feb 28, 1884, he came to South Bend from that country 28 years ago. Surviving are thee brothers, Alexander, John and Ignatius Golba, all of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Stella Kolanicka in Poland. Frienda may call at the St. Joseph Funeral home chapel where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with burial in St. Joseph Polish cemetery.
