SOUTH BEND - Eleanor J. Kazmierzak, 90, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, in Memorial Hospital. Eleanor was born August 22, 1923, in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Eleanor (Wozniak) Jagodzinski. On March 1, 1945, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Eleanor married Mitchell Kazmierzak, who preceded her in death on July 30, 2013. Survivors of Eleanor include her sons, David (Susan) Kazmierzak and Michael (Karen) Kazmierzak; grandchildren, Brian (Susan), Eric (Jillian), Stephanie and Justin; and great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Mason, Grace and Lily. Eleanor, her husband and sons were co-owners of the Mitchell and Sons Nursery and Garden Center and Frepan Floral Shop. She was a parishioner and CCD teacher at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, January 13, 2014, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.
