SOUTH BEND - Memorial services will be conducted at a later date for Klementene K. Smogor, 79, of 2109 E. Edison Road, who died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Cremation will take place, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smogor was retired as a licensed practical nurse from St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born Nov. 12, 1914, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 24, 1937, in Ann Arbor, as Klementene Kendziorski, she married Louis E. Smogor Sr. He survives, with three sons, Louis E. Jr. of Greencastle, Ind., Robert F. of South Bend and Howard A. of Reston, Va.; two grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine T. Graves of Bloomington, Ind.; and a brother, Leonard E. Kendziorski of South Bend.
