Carol Ann Bonner
October 24, 1933 - January 31, 2023
Carol Ann Alexander, of Winona Lake, passed away at her Grace Village home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the age of 89. Born on October 24, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, Carol was the only child of Richard and Mabel (Yost) Bonner. On August 7, 1953 in her hometown of Pittsburgh, she and John "Jack" Alexander were married and spent 60 blessed years together. In 1971, they moved their family to Kosciusko County, Indiana where they remained. Carol was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw where she taught Sunday School, was named Volunteer of the Year at Grace Village and a proud member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. She enjoyed crafts, known to most as "Crafty Carol" and getting lost in a good book. Carol raised eight of her own children and cared for numerous more in the community. She let her faith guide her daily travels proving love and kindness brings joy and happiness. Carol will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Carol gave the very best hugs! Those who will miss her and hold special memories close to their hearts include four daughters, Joyce Price, Judith (Mike) Wilson, Janice (Mark) Fife, Joan (Tom) Anderson; four sons, Jay (Jeanett) Alexander, Jeffrey (Gayle) Alexander, Jim (Wendy) Alexander, and John (Char) Alexander; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren with one on the way in July; brother-in-law, Rev. Robert (Gail) Alexander; and one niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents; and son-in-law, Harry Price. Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Carol's care. Family and friends may gather together Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E. Center Street, Warsaw.
