South Bend - Jon M. Cole, 57, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Jon was born in South Bend on December 31, 1963 to Johnny and Karen (Segety) Cole. He is preceded in death by his father Johnny; and son, Brendan Cole. Left to cherish the memory of Jon are his children, Joshua (Kahri Kruk) Cole, Ashley (Bryan Bennett) Cole, Justine (Scott Treiber) Cole, Justin Cole, and Tyler (Monica) May; his mother, Karen Cole-Reygaert; grandchildren, Dawson, Abigayl, Gabriella, Moriah, Olivia, Autumn, Chloe, Zoey, & Natalie; sister, Dana Cole; niece, Amber Cole; and great-niece, Jalyne Letherman. Jon worked for Utilimaster for 16 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, going out on the boat, and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jon’s final thought was, "Who's going to do the thinking for the family now?" Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
