NEW CARLISLE - Carol M. Zarembka, 73, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family. Carol was born August 26, 1941, in Bremen, to the late Charles and Margaret (Gehl) Kline. On June 27, 1959, in New Carlisle, Carol married Edward Zarembka, who preceded her in death on June 1, 2002. Carol was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Ann Cooreman, Adrian Kline, Charles Kline and Grover Rhinhart. Survivors of Carol include her children, Julie (Mick) Jasinski of North Liberty, Rose (Lawrence) Zielinski of South Bend, Edward (Buddy) Zaremb-ka of South Bend, Angela (Jack) Pritchard of New Carlisle, Susan Zarembka and Jennifer (Steve) Zarembka of South Bend; grandchildren, Danielle, Denise, Kristie, Kimber, Lisa, Zachary, Courtney, Ashley, Jimmy, Heather, Taylor, Tyler, Brittany, Melanie and Megan; great-grandchildren, Emi-lee, AJ, Kogan, Mason, Connor, Remington, Parker and Axel; sisters, Patricia Van Lue of Mishawaka, Ramona Maxwell of Dayton, OH, and Thelma James of Three Rivers; and brothers, Warren Kline of Wyatt, IN, and Mike Kline of LaPorte. Carol was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality. Carol was a member of the Michiana Cruisers Club. She was very particular about her black car being polished. Carol enjoyed crocheting, making rugs out of fabric, gardening and her dog. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as "Super Grandma." Visitation for Carol will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Service begin at noon. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Bend Cancer Services, 3516 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46615; and to the Center for Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
