Frances Nowczewski married three times, each in St. Joseph Co., Indiana:

On Feb. 5, 1901, Rev. R. Marciniak, C. S. C., married Frances Nowaczewski and Karl Winkowski. They divorced in 1905. (familysearch.org and sbags.org)

On June 26, 1905, Frances Winkowski, daughter of Valentine & Mary Nowaczewski, married Andrea Podovani, son of Lewis & Maria Podovani. It was the second marriage for both of them.

The date and place of the death of Frances Treely are from her Indiana death certificate for which her husband, John Treely, was the informant. It was his understanding that Frances had been born Oct. 12, 1880 in Poland to Valentine & Marianne Lagoszinski Nowaczewski...(rest illegible).

Her obituary, published in the South Bend Tribune, includes amongst her survivors, her husband John and son Phillip; three brothers: John, Peter, and Frank Nowakowski; one sister, Mrs. Vincent K. Kaniewski; and one aunt, Mrs. Blanche Najdek. Her funeral was held at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
