Carol Ann Bohdan, 86, of Mishawaka passed away on November 14, 2022. Carol was born on February 19, 1936, in South Bend, IN to the late Peter and Mary (Balogh) Mamula. On February 12, 2001, she married the late John Bohdan who preceded her in death on January 31, 2021. Also preceding her in death is her son, Steven Zapalski and sister, Joyce Reinke. Surviving are her daughters, Deb (Dave) Mayfield and Becky (Jeff) Nicklas; stepsons, John Bohdan II, Joseph Bohdan and Jason Bohdan; grandchild, Nicole Zapalski; and 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Alivia and Michael Gantert. Carol retired from AM General after 30 years where she worked as a secretary in the Materials Control Department. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and socializing with her neighbors. The family would like to extend their gratitude to ProMedica Hospice for all the care they provided to Carol. They would also like to thank all her neighbors, friends and caregivers. Per Carol’s request, a private service will take place. Entombment will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
