South Bend - Wanda Kazmierzak, 90, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021. Wanda was born August 30, 1931 in South Bend to the late Andrew and Lottie (Romanowski) Swizek. On October 12, 1957 Wanda married Andrew Kazmierzak, he preceded her in death on September 4, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Genevieve Swizek & Sophie Plencner; and brothers, Matthew & Andrew Swizek.Left to cherish the memory of Wanda are her sons, Carl Kazmierzak, Dan Kazmierzak, & James (Dawn) Kazmierzak; and granddaughter, Ellie Kazmierzak. Wanda was a longtime parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a former member of Bowlers Country Club. Earlier in life Wanda worked for Indiana Bell and Sears, though her most important role throughout life was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; setting good Christian moral values. Visitation will be 3:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary at 5:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Funeral Home.
