Michael J. Panetti, 50 years old, passed away at 8:34 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Michael was born on January 10, 1971 in Binghamton, NY and has lived in South Bend for the past 11 years. He was a self-employed in the trucking industry for many years. Michael is survived by his father, Thomas L. Panetti of South Bend; fiancé with whom he has made his home for the past 23 years, Rebecca Boyd; and their six children, Christopher Boyd, Hope (Tony Bentley) Carter, Joseph (Elena Davis) Panetti, Faith Panetti, Mathew Panetti, and Cheyenne Panetti, all of South Bend. Michael is also survived by four grandchildren, Grace Carter, Reina Carter, Josiah Panetti, and Serenity Carter; sister, Antoinette McMillen of Missouri; and brother, Thomas Panetti, Jr. of Florida. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Sally A. (Dumas) Panetti and one brother, Louis J. Panetti. Per Michael’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
