MISHAWAKA - Cecilia O. Midday, 95, of Mishawaka, passed away at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, in Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka. Cecilia was born on July 24, 1911, in Mishawaka, to Julia and Cyriel Van De Voorde. On May 5, 1978, Cecilia married Joseph Midday. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Esther Buysse and Rose Marie Van Ooteghem; two brothers, Clem and Chuck Van de Voorde; and by her late husband, Joseph Midday. Cecilia was a member of St. Bavo Parish and the BK Club. Cecilia was a special lady and loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
