SOUTH BEND - William C. Grywczynski, 53, passed away at 5:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2012, in Hospice House. William was born February 17, 1959, in South Bend, to Walter and Marian (Jozwiak) Grywczynski Hernicz. William was preceded in death by his father, Walter Grywczynski. William is survived by his mother, Marian (Jozwiak) Grywczynski Hernicz; son, Richard Spitler of South Bend; sister, Cindy Spencer of South Bend; stepfather, John Hernicz; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. William honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion. William was a carpenter by trade; he was employed with Watterud Construction. William was involved with Alcoholic Anonymous, enjoyed Christian rock music, loved fishing, and liked the outdoors. Memorial services will be celebrated at 7:00 pm Monday, August 20, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, with viewing one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
