Mrs. Sally Ann Stesiak, 72, of LaPorte, passed away unexpectedly April 25, 2012, at her home. She was born on March 24, 1940, in LaPorte, to George and Phyllis (Waznieski) Teets. She retired from LaPorte Hospital as a Nursing Administrative Assistant after 41 years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Joseph St. Vincent de Paul Society, volunteer for the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, past member of P.R.C.U., P.N.A., and was a LaPorte High School graduate. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed needlepoint, was an avid Cubs and Notre Dame fan, and especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's' activities. Sally leaves three sons, Michael (Michelle) Stesiak, of Granger, Jeffrey (Pam) Stesiak, of Granger, and Tony (Stacy) Stesiak, of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Haley, Riley, Brandon, Keaton, Regan, Trey and Quin; also one brother, Tim (Gina) Teets, of LaPorte; one niece, Taylor Teets; and one nephew, Jake Teets. She is preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Hip Andrzejewski. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. CST at St. Peter Catholic Church with Rev. Dennis Teles officiating. The visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. CST and Saturday 8:30-9:30 a.m. CST at the Essling Funeral Home. The Prayer Service will be today at 4 p.m. CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
