SOUTH BEND - Dolores M. Asire, 82, of South Bend, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Signature Health Care Nursing Home, South Bend. Dolores was born on May 29, 1931, to Joseph and Clara Maculski of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by a son, James Asire of Fort Wayne, her brother, Edward Maculski, and her sisters, Dorothy Fay and Irene Horvath. She is survived by one sister, Barbara Cross of Tucson, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. Dolores was an employee of Logan Industries and a resident of Corvilla's Bulla Group Home for over 30 years. Although Dolores was developmentally disabled, she lived a happy, fulfilled life. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Monday, June 9, 2014, at Little Flower Catholic Church, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corvilla, Inc., (resident provider for developmentally disabled adults), 3231 Sugar Maple Business Court, South Bend, IN 46628.
