Timothy A. Paluszewski, Sr. 67, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 4:14 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana. Timothy was born on July 27, 1955 in South Bend to Stanley and Bonnie (VanDePutte) Paluszewski. He retired on November 30, 2017 from the City of South Bend, where he was employed with the Parks Department for 18 years. Prior to his employment with the City of South Bend, he worked for 20 years at Burkhart Advertising. On May 24, 2003 in the Monson Chapel United Methodist Church, he married Cheryl L. Duncan, who survives. Timothy is also survived by two daughters, Michelle (Kenny) Ross of Clearwater, Florida and Peggy (Dave) Kruk of Kennesaw, Georgia; one step-daughter, Mandy (Norman) Milton of Indianapolis, Indiana; three step-sons, Adam (Vanessa) Bays of St. Augustine, Florida, Clay (Misty) Bays of Logansport, Indiana and Matthew (Katy) Duncan of Jacksonville, Florida; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen (Mike) Veit of South Haven, Michigan; and five brothers, Craig of Hollywood, California, Stanley (Debbie) of St. Louis, Missouri, Marty (Carolyn) of New Carlisle, Indiana, Brian (Pam) of South Bend, Indiana and Kevin of South Bend, Indiana. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Paluszewski and Bonnie Batta; and his son, Timothy A. Paluszewski, Jr. on June 27, 2000. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Timothy was an avid Notre Dame, White Sox and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed bowling in leagues with his brothers and friends at the former Beacon Bowl. He loved his family, friends, the many pets over the years and was extremely proud of his daughters and his favorite “sons in laws”.
