Herschel M. Warren, 82, of 1310 N. College ST., died at 7:25am today in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Warren retired in 1971 form Webb Fuel Co. He was born January 18, 1903, in Knox, and lived in South Bend since 1951. On October 30, 1971, in South Bend, he married the former Bernadette Hahaj, who survives. Also, surviving are a stepdaughter, Natale Zoncick of South Bend; two stepsons, Nate Sappington of South Bend and Anthony Sappington of California; five step grandchildren; and two brothers, Steve and Edward, both of South Bend. Services will be at 9am Saturday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where a wake will be at 7:30pm Friday. Mr. Warren was a member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.
