Josephine Kotowski, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Josephine was born August 1, 1920 in Kielczyglowa, Poland to the late Bruno and Sophia (Luczak) Binczak. On June 15, 1941 Josephine married Frank Kotowski, he preceded her in death. Josephine was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, daughter-in-law, a brother, and three sisters. Survivors of Josephine include her children, Helen (Russ) McGuire, Christine (Edmund) Stasiak, Diane (Robert) Weymon, George Kotowski, Barbara Kromkowski, Mary (Paul) Lass, Ted (Linda) Kotowski; grandchildren, Kelly Barnhart, Kerri Coleman, Eric Stasiak, Christina Jackson, Raymond & Christopher Kotowski, Becky Drews, Beth & Brian Kromkowski, Christine Dejaegher, Katherine & Paul Lass Jr., Steven & Michael Kotowski; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. Josephine was a parishioner of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, and was a member of the Rosary Society, Golden Clusters, Harvest House, Grandmothers Club and MR Falconets. Josephine enjoyed shopping, cooking, especially Golumbki. She most enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and traveling with her children, especially when travelling back to her home town in Poland. Josephine was very active in her clubs and attended all the meetings, lunches and trips. She loved to play bingo, sing Polish songs and animals, especially feeding the ducks and squirrels. She was very strong in her Catholic faith. Josephine was a little lady but a mighty woman with much love to give, her family was very precious to her, and she will be greatly missed and always loved.

Visitation for Josephine will be 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545.
