MISHAWAKA - Martha V. Majewski, 86, of Rogersville, Tenn., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, Rogersville. Mrs. Majewski retired from Uniroyal Plastics Co. and was a former Studebaker Corp. employee. She was born July 20, 1907, in Chicago, and lived in Mishawaka until moving to Tennessee in 1989.

On Sept. 9, 1929, in South Bend, as Martha Nowak, she married Stanley Majewski. He died April 12, 1962. She is survived by a daughter, Rita DeWitte of Rogersville; a son, Richard of Kalamazoo; and two sisters, Josephine Nowak and Helen Barczykowski, both of South Bend. She was a former member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. There will be no visitation. Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Henry's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 40, Rogersville, Tenn. 37857.
