SOUTH BEND - Mark A. Koscielski, 51, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, after a lengthy illness. He was born in South Bend, Indiana, graduated from Indiana University in 1982, and obtained a Master's Degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He was employed by Huntington National Bank for 26 years. Mark loved to travel, enjoyed golf, was an avid Notre Dame fan and his son's biggest fan. He was a past board member of Easter Seals of Central Ohio and Catholic Social Services. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Stanley Koscielski. Mark leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Laura, and his son, Adam. He is also survived by his mother, Catherine Koscielski of South Bend; two brothers, Dr. Matthew (Maureen) Koscielski of South Bend and Paul (Amy) Koscielski of Indianapolis; as well as his sister, Marie (Tim) Gerken of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Easter Seals of Central Ohio or the National Kidney Foundation . The family would like to thank Dr. Saunders and Dr. Grant and many other medical professionals for the care and compassion provided as well as acknowledge the years of support by Huntington National Bank. Friends may call on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, OH 43220 from 1-5. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, November, 14, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, Ohio. There will be a private burial service.
