Loretta Diane Deal, 62, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009, in Hospice House, South Bend. Diane was born November 19, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana, to Adalbert J. and Mary I. (Stockton) Hojara. She was a homemaker. On November 14, 1967, Diane married Thomas E. Deal, who survives. Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Tammy Deal of South Bend; a son, Adalbert Joseph (Kellie) Deal of South Bend; five grandchildren, Thomas and David Greathouse, Amanda Sue Deal, Amie Krawiec and Joslynn Laskowski; sisters, Jamie VanWynsberghe of New Castle, Indiana, Veronica (Joe) Gondocs of South Bend, Janice (Fred) Wolak of South Bend and Rebecca (Cecil) Brummett of South Bend; and a brother, Michael Hojara of South Bend. Sisters, Pat Laymon and Alberta Keen, preceded her in death. Also surviving are brothers-in-law, Jim Laymon of Mishawaka, Robert (Carol) Deal and Kenneth (Bev) Delinski of South Bend, Richard (Mary) Deal of Villages, Florida; and sisters-in-law, Marylyn (Lloyd) Keldsen of New Carlisle, Indiana, Barbara Cesavice of South Bend, Cheryl (Gary) Johnson of South Bend and Delores (Carl) Bates of Niles, Michigan.
