SOUTH BEND - Thaddeus F. Kolacz, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6:15 a.m. in Country Side Place. He was born on April 24, 1928, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Maryann (Kwstorowski) Kolacz. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lillian, Phyllis and Sophie; and by three brothers, Casimier, John and Louis. Thaddeus is survived by two brothers, William and Al Kolacz, both of South Bend, and many nieces and nephews. He was co-owner of Kolacz Brothers Market from 1952-1990. Thaddeus was a member of St. Joseph Young Men's Club and he enjoyed listening to music. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, for members of the family in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a funeral liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
