Louis Gorney, aged 65, of 1123 North Johnson street, die din his home at 8 p.m. Thursday after two years illness. He was born here Sept. 18, 1873, and lived his entire life in South Bend. He was married in 1895 in Berwood, W.Va., to Louisa Pemhoff who survives him. He leaves also five daughters, Mrs. Roselda Simpson, Chicago; Mrs. Edna Hamburger, Mrs. Pearl Robinson, Mrs. Gladys Merrill, and Mrs. Glenda Freel all of South Bend; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Friends will be received in the residence tonight and until Monday morning when the body will be removed to the L. H. Orvis chapel for funeral services at 2 p..m. Monday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
