Arch P. Milani
October 14, 1950 - September 17, 2022
Arch P. Milani, 71, of South Bend went home to be with his Lord on Saturday September 17, 2022 and is now in the arms of his savior Jesus Christ. Arch was born on October 14, 1950 in Bedford, OH to Narciso A. Milani and Joy McKinley Milani Andexler, who preceded him in death. On September 4, 1976 Arch married Valerie Pertics. They were married 46 years. They have two sons, Benjamin (Lori) Milani of Elkhart, IN and Lucas Milani of Mishawaka. Arch also has 4 grandchildren. Arch had a servant’s heart and was willing to help anyone wherever and whenever needed. He and Valerie were charter members of the Deer Run Church of Christ, where he served in many areas. Notre Dame was his favorite football team. He enjoyed watching their games, and his sons provided him with ample memorabilia. He enjoyed boating and fishing in his spare time. After 25 years with Cor-A-Vent, Arch retired in 2015. In 2016, Arch was diagnosed with Frontal-Temporal Dementia, and in 2018 became a resident of the Mary B. Home, a private home for memory care, until his death. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written: “Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:35-55 A celebration of life will be held at Deer Run Church of Christ at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 230 W Catalpa Dr. Mishawaka, IN 46545. Palmer Funeral Homes-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family. Condolences can be sent to the family via the Palmer Funeral Home Website; www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
