MISHAWAKA - Isabel E. Jaronik, 92, passed away at 6:29pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Golden Living Center, Tanglewood. Isabel was born on December 21, 1924 in South Bend to John and Rose (Robakowski) Hes. She enjoyed ice fishing, bingo, and working in her yard. On June 2, 1945 she married James S. Jaronik. He died on May 21, 1993. Isabel was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Ranchaert and two brothers, Frank Hes and Clem Hes. Surviving are a son, Gordan (Dianna) Jaronik of South Bend, two grandchildren, Michelle (Chris) Vangel and Marlene (Jason) Ford; 4 great-grandchildren, Ella Ford, Carter Ford, Ike Vangel and Blythe Vangel; and a sister, Lorraine Dembinski of Niles. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Golden Living Center and Hopice for the care they provided to Isabel. Per Isabel's wishes, cremation will take place; a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
