LAKEVILLE - Marlene B. Troutman, 77, passed away at 5:23 pm Friday, October 23, 2015, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Marlene was born December 28, 1937, in Bessmer, MI, to the late Clarence and Catherine (Kendziorowski) Michal-ski. On November 7, 1959, in South Bend, Marlene married John Troutman, and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2014. Marlene was also preceded in death by a Clarence Michalski. Survivors include daughter, Pam (Jim) Miles of Ontonagon, MI; son, Vince (Crystal Cooper) Troutman of Osceola, IN; grandsons, Jimmy (Danielle) Miles of Cloverdale, IN, Donny (Lauren) Miles of Ontonagon, MI, and Andrew (Dayna Curry) Troutman of Osceola, IN; great-grandsons, Aydan Miles and John Michael Miles; great-granddaughters, Bralynn Troutman and Lilly Miles; sisters, Marge (Bob) Milbourne of Wheatfield, IN, Sharon (Tom) Haarala of Ontonagon, MI; niece, Cecelia (Kevin) McCoy; nephews, Tom (Cindy) Troutman and Bill (Pam) Troutman; and by many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Marlene was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. She worked for Baycote Metal Finishing. She had a love for animals and she supported many Humane Societies. She was former President of the PTA, Michiana Figure Skating Club, Irish Youth Hockey League, and Bowlers Club. She loved having a big vegetable garden and spent many summers camping in Wisconsin. She also loved seeing her grandsons play hockey. She enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Visitation is 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 1 pm on Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Published in South Bend Tribune on Oct. 26, 2015
