Lucille Beatrice (Dietl) Therrien, 87, of Shamrock Gardens and Brick Road, died Sunday evening, Sept. 19, in West Woods of Niles, Mich.

Lucille was born March 1, 1917, in South Bend, Ind., to Joseph and Agatha (Peaney) Dietl, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harold H. "Rocky" Therrien, who she married on Jan. 25, 1941, in South Bend; sisters, Clara and Florence; and brothers, Bud and George.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Papanek of Fairfield, Ark.; a son, Daniel (Lorraine) Therrien of Niles; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Dana, Fred, Gina, Jeffery, Joseph, Pamela and Kimberly; and a sister, Geraldine Arndt of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hickey Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 17131 Cleveland Road. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home, and one hour before services on Thursday.

Lucille was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
