SOUTH BEND - Sylvester ''Sally'' Jozwiak, 88, of 1009 Oakland St., died about 5:18 p.m. Monday in his home after an illness. Mr. Jozwiak retired from South Bend Current Control Co. in the shipping department. He was born June 22, 1905, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Feb. 19, 1928, in South Bend, he married Cecelia P. Ozdyck. She survives with a granddaughter, Victoria Mariner of Arlington Heights, Ill.; a grandson, Thomas Petros of Chicago; and five great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Casimir Senior Citizens and Holy Name Society of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Services will be at noon Thursday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 2:30 p.m. by St. Casimir Senior Citizens.
