South Bend- Michael W. Sterzik, 75, of South Bend passed away on Sunday October 16, 2022 at his home. Michael was born on August 29, 1947 in South Bend to the late Russell and Phyllis (Gehring) Sterzik. Michael spent his life in the South Bend area retiring after 34 years at Notre Dame where he worked in the Central Receiving Department. Michael loved sports, especially football. He also enjoyed reading and loving all history. Michael is survived by his loving sister; Patt Sterzik of South Bend. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. In following with his wishes, no services are planned at this time. Palmer Funeral Homes-Welsheimer Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family at this time.
