Jacob Tesmer, 80, of Porter County, died yesterday following an illness of ten days, death being attributed to pneumonia. He was born in Germany, July 13, 1847, and came to this country 43 years ago. He was a retired farmer. He was married in 1878 in Germany, his wife died four years ago. The following children survive: Paul Tesmer, Porter County, Frank Tesmer, LaPorte County; Mrs. Martha Murawski, Mrs. Agnes Pliska, Porter County, and Mrs. Anna Orkiczewski, of Chicago, togerther with two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The deceased was a member of St. Mary's church and of the Polish National Alliance. The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock in St. Mary's church, in Otis. The Rev. John Biernacki will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may view the body up to 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Obituary donated by: Ilaine Groves Church richurch@attbi.com
